We are extremely please to share with all of our friends that our Team from DEGA AFGHANS that participate at the recently World Dog Show in Argentina, made a remarkable achievements!
Quero Of Dega Afghans (Ch. Onix Of Dega Afghans x Ch. Jazz Chaman & Dega ) our sereral generations home breed puppy male won the BOB Puppy competition and lately the Sight Hound Puppy Group finishing in the Top Ten puppies over 300 hundred puppies from 50 countries .Quero was also multiple BOB Puppy Winner and Multiple Group placement during the circuit

Pisco of Dega Afghans ( Ch. Regimes Picasso Of Keystone x Andros Miss Vida Boheme) our BIS Junior Peruvian Champion won the BOB Junior competition and also became the Winner of the Sight Hound Group last Sunday finishing in the Top Ten Junior dogs over 700 juniors from 50 countries that participated at the last World Show in Argentina . Pisco ad, at his 12 months of age, two more titles to his record, the Americas & Caribbean Winner and the Junior World Winner .Pisco was also a multiple BOB Junior Winner, multiple Junior Group Winner and third Runner Up Junior BIS during the circuit of this World Dog Show.

The Afghan hound breed was very well represented at this World Show with an entry of 34 dogs. Besides this number, that is relatively big for our region, the quality of the Afghans that participated was very high. There were more than 15 champion and dogs from USA, Mexico, Spain, Australia, Peru, Chile, Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina .This selected group of afghans included many BIS winners, Ranking winners , a National Specialty winners, an 2005 AKC Eukanuba National Championship BOB and BOS winners and so on . It is also interesting to say that our breed won, the day of the World Show, the Group in Adult, Junior and Puppy competition.
Despite of the awful incident with the exhibitors of Dogo Argentino, I must say that the world Show was very well organized, the trophies were beautiful, and the beef and wine that we enjoy with our good friends every night after the show were just fabulous!
